The sheer volume of Sevens abroad has never been greater, as export sales continue to grow every year. Not only is the Seven one of only a handful of cars to reach its 50th birthday, it is also one that can be found in the most unexpected of places across the world probably making it one of the best globally represented cars ever!
Caterham Cars has always invested its resources in product development and quality and our current strategy is no different as we aim to keep up to date with the continually shifting homologation requirements, and thereby ensuring we continue to satisfy increasing overseas demand. Consequently, Caterham is pleased to be able to offer its customers two EU5 emissions approved engines in the form of the 1.6 Ford Sigma 120 Bhp and the 2.0 Duratec 175 Bhp.
Today representation of the Seven in international markets is just as important to Caterham Cars as its UK home market, with over 50% of current production departing these shores. Equally this figure is set to rise further as more and more partners overseas join the Caterham extended family.
